CHRISTOPHER "BELL" BELLAMY
Chris Bellamy also known as Bell, grew up like most inner-city kids, broke and no real understanding of the world outside of his neighborhood in New Britain CT. Like many of his peers, he saw opportunity through sports but his world was changed when he had his first child at 15years old. Though one of the toughest times of his life, through great mentorship he was able to persevere through the challenges and was named the Oprah Winfrey Youth of the year and two months before his daughter’s 3rd birthday he signed a full athletic scholarship (football) with the University of Connecticut. Where he led his team to win the Motor City Bowl, the school’s first ever bowl game victory.
After Graduation he entered the workforce where he became a Dean of students and football coach at his alma mater New Britain HS. 3 years later he began to explore entrepreneurship eventually landing a career in corporate America. He is also part owner of the Husky Investment Group - a real estate investment group with his former UConn teammates. Bell is happily married and continuing his entrepreneurial endeavors through various mediums. He has been able to consistently turn his circumstances to successes.
